From Section 48 to King Drive uncovers a seldom-told narrative of Milwaukee’s Chinese immigrant history through the installation of two state historical markers. One stands in Bronzeville at the site of a former Chinese laundry; the other at Forest Home Cemetery, where bachelor laborers — restricted by the Chinese Exclusion Act — were laid to rest.
